Private Tours

Below you find three carefully prepared walking tours, they have a duration of 3 hours and in general start from Singel 377. Though they can also start at any preferred time and location within the city center. Amsterdam’s Golden Age

Discover Amsterdams rise to a world power from the year AD 1000 till the beginning and end of the golden age, 1578-1672. We will walk along the canals and visit many landmark buildings. At the end of the tour you will understand how city planning, economics, politics, innovation, artists, architecture and culture made this historical city, as well as her demise till the fall of the Dutch Republic in 1795.

Discover where Rembrandt van Rijn, Frans Hals, Gerard Dou and Jan Steen lived, walked and were inspired to paint some of their masterworks. Many of the places lived and visited by these masters are still there, along the walk between these locations you learn about their live stories, works, different painting themes and explore some of Amsterdams most picturesque places.

Beer has played an important role in Amsterdam’s early history. If you want to find out why, join along a canal walk and visit 4 bars open since the 17th century and see where historical figures of the Dutch Republic as admirals Michiel de Ruyter and Piet Hein, philosopher Barnuch Spinoza and statesman Hugo de Groot drunk a beer.
